Meet Richard

We’re so lucky to work with Rich to source the Certified Transitional almonds in our Chewy Nut Butter bars.


He’s been working on his farm since his childhood—but never thought he’d go into farming himself. He studied geology and hydrology in school and even worked overseas in Switzerland as a hydraulic engineer. Lucky for us, he returned to the in farm Turlock, CA and is now transitioning 50 acres of land with another 20 slated to transition in 2017.

Meet Newton

Through our partnership with Hesco, Newton was one of the first farmers we worked with when developing the transitional certification.


Everyone knows Newton in his small Wyoming town. Recently, his daughter and son-in-law relocated to be more involved with his farm — so it truly is a family operation. Newton’s mission is to impact our food supply, because he believes that means he’s doing his part in this great big world of ours. And together, we’re taking a small step to make a difference.
